Adding a US Debit card to my UK account.

Hi - I'm British (well, Cornish) but I'm currently living in the States. Is there any way I can link my US debit card (bank of America) to my Pay Pal account? I currently have to pay bank and exchange charges transferring money to my UK  accounts just to be able to use ebay to but things from the States - whgich is bloody stupid. Note US debit cards don't have sort codes. The alternative is to make another ebay account, a new paypal account, and a new email address to twin it all with and start from scratch. Surely I'm not the only **bleep** with this issue?

Paypal is country specific so if you move country you should open another paypal account in that country and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.
