I accidentally deleted the direct debit from my bank that was linked to Paypal, as I didn't recognise what it was. I now don't know how to set it up again - in accounts it just says that my bank account is 'available only for withdrawal' and I can't delete and set up my bank account again as there are pending transactions. Please help!

In a situation like this it's best to remove the bank account and add it back to your account. That resets things and the direct debit instruction will be sent out to your bank again. This is how to do that https://www.paypal.com/selfhelp/article/FAQ592/3 .

Thanks for the reply. I tried to delete my account, but get an error message of 'You may not remove your funding source while an authorisation is still pending.' How can I get around this? It won't let me add my bank account again!

In that case your best bet is to give customer services a call and they may be able to re-enable it with your bank for you.
