[AGE] How do I rectify my age?

I have mistakingly clicked on 1997 when confirming my age when I was born 1998.

After going mad at myself for doing so, I frantically tried to find a way to correct it to no avail.

I will be verifying my details with my new adult passport, upon realising I've submitted the wrong age - will they lock my account?

Sorry but not sure which option you should choose.

1. Close that account and open another one OR

2. Contact customer services and see if they can change it for you.

Personally I think option 2 is your best bet  >>

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".

have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

I've tried to reach them via Twitter to no avail.

I'll try to get a hold of them through normal support means today too.

Oh, I had to refund around £2000 so now I have £700+ that has been locked.

So closing isn't really an option :s
