paypal stole my money

So i've seen several people with this problem also:

I bought a green dot card, but the money into my paypal account, no problems

BUT paypal wont let me use it for freaking anything! its just sitting there and my account is "limited" (oh and its not limited. i checked my limits, and the purchase i am trying to make brings me no where close) so now I have $25 sitting in my account and I cant access it. I do believe that is stealing? i cannot see any harm it would bring paypal if they let me spend it. They got my money, now give it back. Im trying to make an online transaction, and it keeps getting rejected. "oh you recently hit your limit!" bull **** i'm no where close. good job paypal, from now on, when anyone mentions anything about you, I'll have LOTS of bad stories to tell them.

oh you recently hit your limit!"

The limit is not the limit the card has, it is the total spending limit placed on you Paypal account.

Once that limit is reached you will need to add a bank account to be verified.

No disrespect to Profdata if he or she's reading but that's not what 1upnate's talking about. Anyone could just ad a credit card or bank account and do away with all limits. I'm glad you're posting this 1upnate as I now know it's still happening. For those unaware of what I'm talking of Greendot's supposed to raise your spending limit along with the money you put on your Moneypak once you put the Moneypak into Paypal. Everyone gets a 250 dollar spending limit a year with Moneypaks and after that you have to ad a credit card or bank account to spend any more.

The recent problem is Moneypak's refusing (stopped?) to raise your spending limit on Paypal along with the amount you funded your Moneypak for. So the whole idea that we can use Moneypaks to fund our Paypal accounts and then purchase items is useless because they (Moneypak or Paypal) won't raise your spending limit along with the money you funded your Paypal with. That was the whole idea of using a Moneypak to fund your Paypal account. You received a new spending limit every time you added more money via a Moneypak. If I loaded 35 I could spend 35 and so on until you reached your 250 dollar yearly spending limit. This is (was) really nice as you didn't haft to have a credit card or bank account to buy things on various websites using Paypal.  Many people just don't want to give Paypal their credit card or bank account and so this provided a way, again, to buy things using Paypal without either.

The same thing happened to me last October and, like I said, thanks for saying something about it sounds like they still haven't fixed it. I'm really hoping this isn't some kind of stunt on Paypal or Moneypak's part as this defeats the whole purpose of using a Moneypak to fund a Paypal account. If I had to link either my credit card or bank account to use my money what's the point of using a Moneypak?! I would just use one of the two methods I had to fund my account, or draw from, and the term Moneypak would become a distant memory..
