Credit Card Verification

Ok something here is not working.   I had originally entered my credit card when i opened up my new Paypal account.   Late I added and verifed a linkage to a bank ok.  no problems there.

Only thing is every transaction i try and do must "clear" like 5 days before the money is available to merchant.    I had a paypal account before (different bank)  and this never happened.    why is this different?

So i ask someone and they say the original credit card needs to be verified.  Ok fine i will do that.   So i see on my credit card statement that the $1.95 is against my account,  but there is no 4 digit code against the transaction .  in fact both current and pending transactions are blank??      Maybe this will show up on monday,  but i have a question about the paypal end.    Assuming i get this transaction number how do i verify on Paypal?    When i go to Profile> Credit/Debit Cards  and click on the link that is there i get this message:   You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks.

This can't be right!   where do you verify the credit card?

ok i think i might have posted prematurely.

I got the got the code from my bank late yesterday on the $1.95 transaction  transaction.

the link on paypal to verify the credit card appeared on the right hand side as soon as i logged in today.

that broken link I mentioned should be fixed though,  very misleading.

i never got this before and was able to use my card i dont have a bank account just my card i want this fix anything you can tell me i hate paypal with a passion

I have also been having problems with the verification process.  I tried to apply for the paypay mastercard to verify my account, but it keeps telling me that I didn't fill out the 'annual income' section, when I did.  After reading these forums, it seems that paypal has many issues that make me wonder if it really works as easily as they claim to.
