I have an existing verified PayPal account.
My wife created an unverified PayPal account and now has unclaimed funds. When she tries to add our bank account to verify her PayPal account, it tells her that our bank account has already been used to verify an account.
My question is:
If we close my wife's account, then add her email address to my verified account, will we be able to claim the funds that were already sent to her account?

Welcome to the boards!
If she has already received the payments and they are posted in the account - if they are visible in her History - then the payments will not shift over. In this scenario, any payments sent after the account is closed will show up in the other account.
If they're not visible in the History, then by all means, switch it over and they should attach to your account without any issues.
Hope this helps,
Adrian
