ATTN Mods / Since PayPal has not answered my Email from 09/26...

So, my account hit it's "limit" at $5,000usd.  I'll state that again: FIVE THOUSAND US DOLLARS.  I have had my PayPal account for over 10 years and have used PayPal services for over $5,000usd worth of transactions.

 

I have NEVER had a checking account linked with my PayPal account. I have used different debit cards/prepaid debit cards to make all of my purchases and subscription payments.

 

Suddenly my account, which WAS verified but suddenly has become un-verified, has been locked. I cannot remove my debit card and create a new account, because PayPal will not let me remove my card while "a pending transaction is waiting."  Um...PayPal is the one refusing to allow the transaction to go through. This is a $6usd subscription payment, and my bank account on file has several thousand USD in it.

 

I tried verifying and PayPal will not accept the routing numbers used for my account. Trust me, they work. They are the exact same routing numbers my employer uses to direct deposit my paycheck every two weeks. It just worked today, as I was just paid today.

 

I am told I need to print out my statement, showing the two deposits, and fax in the form along with photocopies of my ID.  Okay, whatever. I tried that.  That was on 09/26/2011. FOUR BUSINESS DAYS AGO!  PayPal has still not made any verification deposits to my account. HOW LONG AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT FOR THIS?!

 

I still have not received ANY answers via Email. If PayPal continues to ignore my many attempts to contact them, I will simply report PayPal for fraud to my bank, for refusing to release my debit card from their system.

 

Look, I want to use your service. I enjoy using your service. I want to verify my account. I want to continue driving revenue to PayPal and generating profits to PayPal. PayPal is the one preventing this.

 

The Better Business Bureau and other reporting agencies WILL be notified if I continue to receive ZERO responses from PayPal. I will take every single action I possibly can to downgrade PayPal's A+ status with the BBB if this issue continues to be ignored.

 

So, PayPal...What say you?  Will you continue to ignore my many attempts to contact you and continue to hold my account (which incidentally has a positive balance in it) along with my debit card information, and refuse to allow me to access my account?  Or, shall I begin taking action with my bank, the BBB, and possible legal action to retrieve my money contained in my PayPal account?

 

PS: This is pathetic that I have to use a bulletin board service to try and actually receive an answer in writing.
