Money Transfer Irritation

I set up a money transfer to my Paypal account a week ago, and it was set to clear today...

But, when I checked PayPal, not only had the transfer -not- gone through, but the estimated date for the transfer was pushed back to the 14th.

Why?

My bank account -has- the money for the transfer to go through. Why, instead of going through, was this pushed back? I do not understand, at all. Should I contact my bank?

Perhaps more infuriating, I set up a new transfer this morning. The estimated transfer date, is the 6th. Why this maddening delay?

Your situation definitely sounds frustrating and I can understand your concern.  The time frame for the funds to clear from your bank to PayPal is typically 3-4 business days.  Please keep in mind this does not include weekends or holidays. 

The time frames we display are estimates and are based on the information we receive from your bank as we do not have any control over how long it takes for the funds to get to PayPal.  If you have seen the funds taken from your bank already then they should be posting to your account very soon.  I wish you well and have a good day.

Thank you for answering, however... Now, in addition to having been delayed, the transfer itself has disappeared from the que entirely.

I found the transfer... it was moved off of the front page, because it wasn't recent enough, apparently.
