There's two options as to what happened here. If the original payment was made via a credit card, then the refund would be returned back to the card. Given this happened a little over 3 months ago, I would recommend reviewing your credit card statements or giving them a call to make sure the refund posted back to your card.
If you used your bank account to fund the payment, then the refund would've returned back to your PayPal balance. If you've purchased anything in the last 3 months, we would've used that $10 first to make your payment.
If you still can't find the refund after looking at these options, give us a call and we'll go over your account and see what's happening.
