Cannot login to paypal via ebay as paypal wants to send verification code to number not in my account.
If I try to use paypal to purchase on ebay I get a popup window to log into ebay and once I've entered name/password I see -- "Get a verification code Mobile phone" -- and the last 3 digits shown are from an old mobile number no longer in my paypal acccount. There is no other way of logging in i.e. mobile is not in a drop down and there is no option to use another security method, unlike logging in using the paypal website. Also same with main paypal website it offers to send to my old (not in my account) mobile.
I've tried removing existing mobile and adding it back and confirming number with code paypal sent to the mobile but that has made no difference.
