After posting For Sale a piece of furniture,a person, Jesse, offered to buy it for the asking price of $1400. I sent him the pay pal code and found that I would have to send $1000 to Brian Atti,89 York St. in London, England to handle the shipping. I was told that the $ was in my Pay Pal account for the cost of the item plus the $1000 but first I had to send the $1000 by way of Western Union. I refused to send anything until it showed up on my account. Then I received several emails explaining how necessary it was to send the money. I googled the email address and found it to be well known as a place that phished. It seems they are now in the business of scamming Kijiji sellers.

This fellow is still at it . . I had exactly the same situation occur today, in response to an ad I posted on Kijiji for a musica instrument, from someone giving the name Jessie Cunningham; the message through PayPal is to first send $1000 through Western Union to Brian Atti in London UK. Exactly the same wording.
"Hi,i just want to make sure the ad complete and nothing to repair,i will purchase at your listed price,Payment will be sent using PayPal and i will handle the PayPal surcharge as well.I will arrange with someone to have this picked up from your location once i have paid as i am out of town at the moment.pls send me more pictures (if available) since i won't be be able to see this in person, what's the PayPal email to send funds to in order for me to pay you ASAP."
Same thing again, I was to send $1000 to Brian Atti,89 York St. in London, England for shipping, told the $ was in my Pay Pal account for the cost of the item plus the $1000 but first I had to send the $1000 by way of Western Union.
If this fellow is already known, isn't there some way of having him charged?

LMAO....He tried the exact same with me, same names and all. Almost like his email is just copy and paste, said the exact same to me......Now i'm getting really authentic looking Paypal emails saying they are going to get the FBI and RCMP after me.
