Text message received saying account locked

Hi, I got a text message today saying my PayPal account has been locked and giving me a link to click on unlock it. I didn't click it and logged in in my normal way and can see nothing about account locked. Is this just a phishin scam?

Call Paypal customer service about the text. That would be the fastest way to find a solution.

Welcome to the community forum.

You would not have been able to log into your PayPal account if it was locked.

This is most likely a phishing text. Remember never log into your account by clicking on a link in an email or a text. Simply type in www.paypal.co.uk into your browser. This way you will always know you are logged into a legitimate PayPal site.
