Security Key texts not received on new phone - any advice?

I had a phone which I changed for a new one with the samephone number.  Ever since I have changed my phone I have not been able to receive the security text and have to answer the security questions to get into my account.

 

Why can't I get the texts now?

 

Do I need to do something to get the texts on my new phone?

So a month later and still no working Security key texts, and no information provided.

 

Absolutely appalling.

And here we are, 2 months on and still no comment? I've designed, implemented and rolled out SMS integration nationwide in less time than this.

In fact scrap that, I've given up monitoring this thread and have just gone and tried it.

Yes , I know this is a very old thread but I would like to update this. I have a new LG V30 and I am not receiving security or verification text. I have talked to a customer service person and the only thing they can do is disable the security verification/2FA. I tried to re-register my number and it still did not work.
