SMS Security Key in hieroglyphics

I've been using the SMS Security on my account without issues for a couple of years now.  Cam eto use it today, and I'm receiving the SMS in hieroglyphics.  Other SMS messages received are fine and in English.

I've tried de-activating the SMS Secruity and re-activating the settings but get the same hieroglyphics when trying to activate.

Any ideas?

Me too, and there is no way of contacting paypal to tell them. How stupid.

Same here.

I had to disable sms verification because it was taking 20 minutes to receive the messages. 

Now I'm trying to activate it again but getting the messages in a different encoding (all symbols).

Doesn't anyone from PP monitor these forums?

Come on Paypal please at least comment on this topic.

I have called paypal and they have said its a known fault which they are working on. It might have been helpful if they let their users know on the website though. Think it's just a case of keep trying to see if it's fixed.

I am getting SMS in hieroglyphics, too.  Seems to be a common problem.
