Paypal doesn't recognize my password?

Dear Paypal-Community,

 

My other account with still money on it just won't work.

I've been using paypal for a while and been doing virtual online purchases and suddenly I wanted to login to my Paypal and my password wasn't working.
So I tried a few more times some different one's but I knew what it was because it was in a text document, still the password didn't work so I asked for a password reset. Now the problem is I still have the e-mail and I can fill in the code they ask for but I also have to verify my phone number by getting a code through SMS but I don't have that number anymore. I hope someone can help me because I don't no what to do.

I am sorry to hear that this has happened. If you are unable to complete the security check when accessing your account, I recommend reaching out to our customer service teams by phone for additional assistance. Our teams can be reached by clicking on ‘help & contact’ at the bottom of any PayPal page. On the call, we can update your phone number so this doesn't happen again. Hope this helps. - Carlos
