ive just bought something from a 3rd party website that accepted either Credit/debit cards or using paypal by clicking on the paypal button. I decided paypal as its the safest so clicked the button, it asked me to log in then it brought up my 2 cards registered on my paypal account ( it DID NOT ask me to confirm my credit card number, it already had it x'd out) which makes me think it wasn't a fake paypal site it directed me to?? ( I have since changed my password just in case they have my log in details)
im now a bit concerned that it maybe isn't a legit website. My question is, how do I know that the paypal button was legit?
i have since logged onto paypal direct from this site, checked my account and the payment I made is showing in there and who I've sent it to. Are ebay able to tell me where their account registered under their email address is legit?
