New Sellers who only accept credit card not Paypal ?

I bought 3 items from a new Seller ( purporting to be China ) but I won the Auction easily and cheaply. When I come to pay,it says Paypal not an option and will only take a credit card payment whereby I have to enter all my details. My automatic rat smeller turned on so I am now looking for it !  Any advice please as Ebay and Paypal gave me scripted generic replies that are of no help as yet. Thank you.

If paypal was not listed as a payment method on the auction then why did you think you could use it to pay for that item?

I didn't notice as such. Ive never come across any that said otherwise so I'm afraid I just asumed paypal. As it said the usual Ebay guarantee, that only covers Paypal I think.

Ebay guarantee covers any one that buys on Ebay however they pay.

Have you double checked to see if paypal was offered on that auction?

I can't, as when I go back to it it doesn't mention the payment bit ?

If it was on ebay then just click on the listing and then on the payments tab.

Make sure you click on ''view original listing'' next to the title of the item.
