I bought an item off depop (buying and selling app) with paypal as I do frequently. The money went through, so it said, until I got a text from 62226 (number Paypal provided me with) saying they had marked it as suspicious and that I should reply with ‘1’ to authorize or ‘2’ to unauthorize. I replied with 1 however the text will not send; nothing is wrong with my texts, I can text others fine. I’ve been trying for two days now and it still will not send to that number. I tried to call that number and the number on the website but could only talk to an automated person which was very unhelpful. Need this fixed soon as I may lose the item which I bought if this process is prolonged. Urgent help please!!

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top. Log in and get the code.
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".
In the UK its free from any landline phone.
Advice is voluntary.
