Gosh why did you leave such a large amount in your paypal account?

Most accounts are hijacked due to someone receiving an email supposedly from paypal but asking them to log in via a link in an email which paypal would never do, when that person does it then the account is hijacked as they steal your log in info.

I would also do a virus scan on your puter.

You need to phone paypal asap via contact us bottom of paypal pages > put in account probs and phone the number given.

When you get  through do not say or select any options just hang on till you get an agent.

Hi Thanks for your post. I have heard some ba things about Paypal when it comes to dealing with this, o you think they will honour the breach in there security.  Have taken legal advice an they say that they are liable.

I have never logged on using an email, as i know that these are a trap for the inexperienced, so i am at a loss to how this has happened

The bank account used is apparently not in my name, so how they can register onto my paypal account with somebody elses details .........??????????

The strange thing is that they left my account details and did not delete them, an also did not change my password either, so it was not a total account hijax just enough to empty my account.
