Part way through answering an email purporting to be about a payment form PayPal, I realised it was a scam, didn't send it, changed password and forwarded email to PayPal before deleting. Will any security information I added to their form still be safe? Or is there any way I can change it?

Hi Yak1949,
Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.
If you didn't respond to the fake email form, your data should be safe. To ensure your device has not been infected nor had anything inadvertently downloaded without your knowledge, please run a virus scan on your device. Any time you receive an email about activity on your PayPal account, the safest way to confirm the emails’ validity is to log in to your PayPal account via the PayPal website (not using the links in the email received). Any of the activity reported in the email will be available to view. Forward any suspicious emails or websites to spoof@paypal.com. If the email is known to us, you will receive an email to confirm whether it was sent by PayPal. If it’s not known to us we will immediately investigate and extract all malicious content.
