You will know an email is not from PayPal when:

•The email uses a generic greeting like 'Dear user' or 'Hello, PayPal member’. Paypal will always use your full name ie John Smith.
•The email requests financial and other personal information.
•The email includes an attachment, a software update to install on your computer.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

the easiest way and quickest way to find out if the email is fake  check out the return email address   all you do is click on it and you will see if its from paypal  usually  it the face ones end in outlook.com   also if   in the massage it says click on www.paypal.com   or paypal.co.uk  i usually hover the mouse over the link and it will show you the  address that these links take you to and it is not paypal.

also the free phone number  do not phone that  as it is not paypal you would be talking to.  hope this helps
