Guys name was reported as Christopher Early from Colorado. Have id ( driver license ), said he wanted to buy my boat via Paypal. I sent him a payment request via paypal Guy was very persistent and too good to be true. I googled his name and Colorado and a scam report on a car from May came out. Stopped all operation. Where can I report him to?. Cyber police or where?

@Septiale

Typical scam been ongoing for years, all over this forum and the internet.

The scam is that they send you a spoof email that looks as if its from paypal stating the buyer had paid extra but the funds were held and would be released when you sent a payment to the ''shipping agent'' via moneygram or western union which the buyer had so called paid for.

They never want your boat / car etc etc they just want that moneygram payment and then you never hear from them again.

They use hijacked names or ebay and often throw away email accounts. Suspect the i.d. was fake as well.

Pointless reporting them as they are nearly always in Africa somewhere.

Just don't be scammed.

Also remember you have NO paypal seller protection for any sort of motor vehicle or any item that is collected.
