PayPal refusing to work on ebay.

This is absolutely ridiculous. PayPal option is selected on Ebay checkout, and as I follow the prompts , PayPal gets stuck "loading" for 10, 20 minutes... even more. In the end, its just stuck loading, it won't process my transaction. Tried about 10 times last week, this week is happening again...  forced to pay via credid card again. What a lousy service PayPal.

I have this same problem. After I put in my userid and password, the Paypal system hangs up and I get the dumb blue circle going around and around forever. I solved it by using a different browser. Now I use Opera instead of Firefox.

@eliman  Sorry you are having this problem ... we delete browsing history, cookies, temporary internet file on a regular basis plus we have a minimum of two browsers we can us.  There are times between system upgrades by both eBay and PayPal that the browser folks issue updates that take a while for all the systems to get caught up.  Try a different browser as well as the regular maintenance mentioned above.

Same here.  I've tried everything, clearing all cookies, history, etc.  Nothing helps.  Made four eBay purchases last night, all by credit card, as Paypal has not worked on eBay checkout since July.  I am not inclined to abandon FireFox.   NO PROBLEMS on
Amazon.com or other merchants.  Just on eBay.

I agree. I sometimes pay my bills and use PayPal for other transactions and it works instantly, no hold ups. Only Ebay is giving me headaches. And once I think I gave up on PayPal and decided to just use my credit card for the ebay purchase, and the next day I found the transaction had been done via PayPal?!? WTF?!? Now I think this is a very serious matter as some transactions are worth thousands of $$$. Imagine paying twice for an item because you thought the transaction hadn't gone through!!
