How do I prevent "pay with one click" and require a password ALWAYS. Ebay seems to relax this step and enable purchase without password. I do not wish to enable this

It sounds like you are inquiring about an eBay feature instead of PayPal specifically.  Have you reached out to eBay's Customer Service team?  As PayPal and eBay are now separate companies, I'd recommend contacting them directly for further assistance.

It sounds like you've linked your accounts for eBay's streamlined checkout.  More information is available here...

You may be able to cancel the linkage by following these steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Profile icon next to "Log out".
3. Click Preapproved payments under "Payment settings".
4. Select the merchant (eBay) whose agreement you want to cancel.
5. Click Cancel.
