I purchased a hat heat press on eBay through buy it now and PayPal credit is not a payment option. Only my other credit cards and bank accounts are showing up. My paypal credit account is in good standing and I have plenty of credit available. Anyone have any idea why? Paypal credit would be my prefered payment choice for this purchase, but it's nowhere to be found.
eBay must've changed something because there is no "see more options". There's only a "Pay With" section and clicking on that or clicking on "change" gives the same options with no Paypal Credit payment option. I had to us the eBay app to pay with PayPal credit. Thanks to Sillythebilly for recommending the eBay app. This was really frustrating me.
From my recent experience with this issue is according to eBay customer service the store I was buying items from was actually an eBay Canadian store, (for a chinese seller) . And only eBay.com USA stores support PayPal credit S a payment option. So if it says like CA$1.99 then no PayPal credit...
I Had the same problem. It kept me from purchasing a few items over the past couple years. Out of frustration, I tried using the ebay app on my phone to pay, and the thing worked. Go to checkout, select paypal as an option, sign in to paypal, select special financing promo. You're welcome, internet.
I have tried to pay for the item I bought from Japan and even if Paypal credit was my primary option I couldn't use it. Paypal call centre explained that if item is not listed in GBP then Paypal credit will not be an option
I struggled with the same problem for 4 days and called paypal twice and my card provider. The first time i called they said to clear cookies and history then wait 24 hours and try again ... 2nd call they basically said since my account was new their was pretty much no hope of ordering it at that moment. Well the next day i tried again was messing with the shipping address . Abra Kadabra it worked . The shipping address cannot differ from the billing address atleast in my case that was the problem. Hope this helps.
