Missing payment options at checkout, unable to select my credit card for payment

I confirmed I have a bank account and 3 credit cards in my Paypal wallet.  When I try to check out through ebay I can only choose my bank account or one of the credit cards.  The other 2 cards are missing.  Hoping someone can help.

I get the exact same - noticed it from Sat October 24th.

I added the CC back in, and was able to checkout with Ebay using it, but it disappeared again from the wallet.

I also did get the option a couple of days ago to pay by CC again, and was successful.

Again straight after that it disappeared.

Also, If you switch to the classic site while in the wallet, you can see all 3 cards always ( I have Amex, Mastercard, and a pre-paid Visa - the pre-paid VISA is the one that I can see all the time.)

I think there is a bug with PayPal, and I have just messaged PayPal regarding this problem.

I tried logging in to the classic site to see my cards but that didn't work for me. I have made about 4 to 5 calls to Paypal and they have an open support ticket to try and figure out what is wrong with my account. This must be a very isolated issue. The Paypal reps can see my two missing credit cards when they log in to my account but I can't. I'm told their techs have been working on it daily to try and resolve my issue. I do a lot of volume through Paypal so I'm told this is a bit of a priority for them. For a brief period of time I was able to use the donation option at ebay checkout and all of my cards would show up. But something changed and that doesn't work for me anymore. I ended up creating a virtual Master Card number and adding that to my wallet and confirming it. That card DOES show up in my Wallet and at checkout but it is the only one I can use. But I also have a Visa card that I need to use and cannot. Can you please call Paypal and let them know your issue? I'm hoping the more people that have this problem, the more resources they will put into fixing it. They're online support is useless.

When I go to the classic site and click on my money I can see all 3 CCs, but when I try to 'update' the 'Debit and credit cards' I am just left with the pre-paid VISA card, so no go with the classic site either.

BTW, I can't remove the prepaid card, even though the last transaction was the 24th Oct and complete.

Doesn't seem right either, as I have been removing the pre-paid cards fairly soon after emptying them without bother.

I was wanting to remove all CCs and see what happens.

I wonder if using prepaid cards is the cause of this?  I have added and then removed more than a dozen prepaid cards to my account since the option was made available.  I also had a prepaid card I couldn't remove, so I verified the card and then I was able to remove it.

I'm not sure which number I called, but I was given a 6 digit number to enter.

Phoned tonight - with that 6 digit number too.

Said to clear cache - did so - no change.

Phoned again

Said that wil be escalated to technical as a priority.

Girl removed that prepaid VISA card - still no difference - can't see Amex and Mastercard in wallet, but still can see both in classic summary but none in classic update.

Girl said that the cards are showing at her end and that nothing is wrong with them.

I'll try and add another main credit card later, and I'll need to buy another prepaid card.

BTW, I must have added around 40 or so VISA prepaid cards, so am not sure if that is the case, although we appear to be similar in that we had 3 cards but could only see the prepaid card.

As you said the more people that phone about this problem the better.

Also, I have no secure messages, so don't know what happened to my message yesterday - that's missing too!

I've called about 5 times and the last time I called the rep told me the tech people were looking at my account off and on each day to try and figure it out.

Also, someone invoiced me directly through Paypal and ALL of my payment options showed up.  However, when I go through checkout on ebay or any other website I'm missing 2 credit cards.

If this doesn't get fixed soon, I might just call my credit card company and report my card lost so I can get a new number issued. Pretty frustrating and I'm not sure if PP will ever straighten this out.

I feel like the Prepaid cards are the culprit.

Just to let you know that the new credit card (Mastercard) can be seen at all times - so no problem there.

My Amex and original Mastercard has only been seen sometimes within the Paypal website, but not been able to see it when paying thru Ebay.

Another funny thing is one of my 2 bank account debit cards is now showing 'needs your approval', and 'Available only for withdrawal' - this card had been fully approved for years.

What I think I will do now is remove the 2 'missing' credit cards are add them back in again.

Was not able to find any more pre-paid cards in the shops.

This is still an ongoing problem for me.  I called again and was told there is not ETA on a fix but that they have finally realized this is more widespread than they thought.  Apparently, problems only really get investigated when it affects multiple people or when it affects their high volume buyers.

Interestingly enough, if someone invoices me through paypal I can see all 3 of my credit cards, but if I look at my Wallet or try to use paypal checkout on Ebay or another website only 1 credit card shows up.

I guess I just have to sit and wait.

I have the same problem, primary visa missing from wallet and only *sometimes* shows when I try to checkout when making a purchase. I also have added/removed a number of prepaid credit cards so that may indeed be part of the issue. There have also been occasions when NOTHING shows up when trying to check out of some stores, no bank account, no visa or prepaid cards. I have to manually "add" the card during chekout. While the payment still goes through, this is becoming a nuissance.

Curiously, I know my primary visa is still attached to the account as it shows in my "account/settings > payment preferences" screen and allows me to select it as the main backup option for payments. But when I go back to the wallet screen it is nowhere to be seen -_-

Been debating contacting paypal but I'm certain it'll just be an exercise in futility so I figued I'd wait it out. Been waiting for a while now...
