HELP!!!!!!

I tried to buy an item today from ebay. It seems like the amount of money in my credit card was not enough in order to complete the transaction(1 dollar or 2 was missing).I was not aware of that at the moment so I tried to pay for the item 3 times and I was always sent to an error page.Anyway I then entered my paypal acount to see that 3 transactions were made and each time the amount of 59,82 USD was reserved from my acount by Pitney Bowes..179.46 USD GONE and I did not even manage to pay for the item!! I contacted the bank,and Ebay customer support who said I should ask for a refund from paypal..How can I get my money back??Has anyone experianced something similar before??

PLEASE HELP!!!
