Error Code #10486

I would like to know what is going on, I am trying to pay for an item and it comes with the message that they were not able to process my payment. Error Code #10486

I tried to contact paypal but I haven´t received any answer so far, I have bought on Ebay for 2 years and never had any trouble. My creditcard has credit (I have just checked and I am not even close to my limit).

I hope someone could give me an answer, the seller is waiting for his money

FYI-

I just tried to make a payment via my iphone and of course the payment didn't go thur but instead of giving me the Error Code #10428 it stated the following:

"Payment services are currently unavailable. Please try again later or use the classic site".

Classic site?? Maybe it means to use the computer and not the mobile site...

Anywho, I'm still waiting....I'm so glad that I contacted all my sellers to let them know what was going on...

Error code #10486  here we are one more!! I also did not use paypal x 2 years about. Yesterday I could not do anything at all, and today I get the error. I hope the sellers on ebay will understand this mess ...it's never easy with online things.. when things are advertised everything is perfect, then in reality is a disaster...

I just had the same error code 10486.

Called Paypal. They wouldn't say exactly what it meant but suggested paying with a different credit card thru Paypal. I tried that and it worked. Still don't know if the problem was with the credit card company or with Paypal, but at least the item is paid for!

Today I tried to pay for the lot Mastercard card. But paypal ever reported - Error Code # 10486.
I tried to pay more and more, but the result was not.
I rebooted the computer - no result.
Then I closed Opera, and opened Chrome. And the payment is passed.
I do not know - coincidence or not, but it worked.

I am having the same problem as wel. I have been trying to complete a transaction for a few days now and error message #10486 keeps coming up. PayPal please come up with the answer of why this is happening.
