Ebay Gift Card: "This coupon is not yet ready for use." after +24 hours of purchase

So...

I decided to try and purchase something on eBay with the gift card. However, when I was taken to the transaction screen, I was given a prompt to enter the code. So I did, and I get the same old "This coupon is not yet ready for use.", no matter how many times I re-input the code. It's been over 24 hours since the gift card was purchased and should've been registered by now. I've used some of these things in the past and it only took a few hours, but this is the first time this thing is taking over a day and counting. What do I do?

I've had the same problem since Friday. PayPal and EBay are blaming each other whenever I call support. This is apparently why I'm an Amazon customer.

No. They never did, but the problem eventually fixed itself. It took approximately over two days for it to activate. You'd just have to wait and keep trying to input the eBay gift card code to see if it'll go through.
