Use my bank account at a Thai bank?

I am trying to help my Thai friend set up paypal to go into his bank account in Thailand.  I thought this was possible but now I read the bank must be in the US.

Hi,

Did you try Linked your friend Thai Bank Account on his PayPal Account?

If you did so, make sure that the Account which one to be linked must be registered at PayPal Thailand.

But, if you try to link a Thai Bank Account within USA PayPal Account, I think it might be not possible.

At least, try to contact PayPal Customer Service.
