Updating my e-mail

please help!!! I need help updating my e-mail. It has not been changed but PayPay says it needs updating. How do you do that?

You may add up to eight email addresses to your PayPal account. Remember that each email address can only be associated to one PayPal account at a time.

Here’s how to add an email address:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Profile icon next to "Log out."
3. Click Update next to Email.

If you want to change your current email address, simply add a new address and remove your old one.

I have updated and it still says I need to do it. I have 2 notifications and now they send me paper bills even tho I am paperless. Same e-mail I started with years ao. I'm frustrated!!!!
