I did an instant transfer of funds from my PayPal account to my debit card. It says it can take up to 30 minutes. Once I submitted it, I got a message it is pending review for security purposes. This happened yesterday, also, but the bank called today to verify charges on my card and there were a couple that I didn't recognize, so they cancelled the card and issued another. They had said PayPal did something for $0 on there. I didn't understand that, as they were supposed to be depositing funds. Needless to say, the funds were put back on the account, and I reinitiated with new card number. I don't understand what the problem is now. When I called customer service, I was told it's for security reasons. My Social Security check direct deposit didn't have to go through such scrutiny, for goodness sakes!! They shouldn't charge you to make it instant, even if it is a quarter, when it's not!! He says it happens with all of them. Plus, he was extremely rude!! Wow!! I was very disappointed that such a large company would have such practices and people!! What security review does it have to go through? It's a bank in the USA, not a foreign country. I had to put my password in to access the information, the person who sent me the money had no problem. Makes it look like they just want it kept in their coffers.
