Struggle to link A bank account

my PayPal only shows option for US bank account which l don't have , how can l link my SouthAfrican ABSA debit bank account ?

Are you sure you opened the correct account, only adding a US bank account is available in most countries but NOT in yours, AND you can add a local bank account !!!

Click on the link below and select the country you want from the drop down list for options available in that country.

If Paypal only shows US bank account,then you can only link with US bank account,local bank is not acceptable.

It is a courtesy extended to US expatriates.

Yes but that is not the case in South Africa. A US bank account is not offered but a local bank account is which is why I queried whether he had actually opened an account in South Africa.

if your bank has issued you a Visa debit card,use that card

Yes but he is NOT from Egypt, he is from South Africa   !!!!

If he is in South Africa and cannot link his local bank account to his PAYPAL account,could it be that his paypal account is not based in S Africa?

where were you when you open your Paypal account?
