Hi, i've tried several times to link a new bank account to my Paypal account but i keep getting the same message, "Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later."

I know that my bank allows transactions, so there is no problem with bank account.

Please advise.

Do not respond or email this person, its a scam and paypal are aware and removing his posts (the same answer on each of them) as soon as reported.

I am getting the same "error message". The disturbing thing is that there is another post where someone claims that this "error message" is coming from the card data being declined. If so, kudos to PayPal for being as vague as possible. I guess that saves on error messages in the software.

When I try to contact support about this, I get a form letter which mentions that if my answer is not covered by that FAQ, reply to the email.  When I do THAT, I get a response which says they can only deal with my question if submitted via the secure message area, so I'm back to square one...

 

I used to work for a company which did enough Paypal business to warrant its own contact.  Same level of support even then, sadly!
