Password change loop

Today, when I tried to log into paypal, I am brought "suspicious activity" page that requests that I change my password for security. I did and got an email confirmation. Then I am asked to log in again. Unfortunately, I am brought to the same page. I have changed my password 3 times, but I can't seem to get by this loop. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do? Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties on your account.

 

That definitely does sound odd. Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies and accessing our page again using Firefox or an IE browser? If not, I would recommend completing the steps to verify if this resolves the issue.

 

If this doesn’t help, I would recommend contacting a PayPal specialist directly at 888-221-1161 Monday through Friday, 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific and weekends from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific for additional assistance. PayPal can also be reached on Facebook at Facebook.com/PayPal and on Twitter at @AskPayPal.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is fixed, but I am uncertain if it was due to clearing the cache and cookies, as I have tried logging in via multiple different browsers on different devices/platforms, and they didn't work either until now.

 

Sorry I can't report that triggered the issue.

Yup. After days and days of frustrating loops using email because I can't afford an intercontinantel phone call from East Africa, I see this solution, clear all my cookies in Chrome, and I'm in and have reset my password - 2 minutes. Thanks.
