How do we add an email account to our new Paypal account

Hello,

So, I just created a paypal account and would like to use it to make certain transactions. I shall use it on a personal basis for a start as I learn about it before I eventually upgrade to business.

At the moment, I opened the account, and added my bank and had it verified.

The second phase is now to receive certain funds via this line... To do this, I shall need to add my consulting email address. Which I use for business.

The issue comes here: When I open my Paypal, I get a homepage that appears as:

Summary>> Activity>> Send and receive Payments>> Wallet>> Shop

I wonder why I cannot access my profile and the option to add an email address as the Youtube self guide shows me.

Click on the ''cog'' icon next to log out and you can add another email address if you want to and you are not going to be using the email address you used to open your paypal account.

If you are going to use another one then don't forget to click on update and make that one primary.
