How do I get total of monthly sales?

Is there a way to get a monthly, or better yet--- year to date, total of the processed PayPal payments that go towards 1099 form total? I can view monthly PayPal invoice PDFs but there are no individual column totals. Do I really need to spend hours going through a years worth of 15 page statements with a pencil and calculator to add up every single individual payment for the year to know if I've reached the $20,000 total that triggers the 1099? I use eBay quarterly sales reports that show 3 months at a time and give a monthly total for eBay sales and eBay and PayPal fees. This is a great help for but of course does NOT include the postage that buyers include with PayPal payments that is included in 1099 total.

Here's one option:   Download or export your Transaction History

* Login to your account.
* Click "Activity"
* Under "Simple" "Detailed"
* Click on "Statements"
* Click on "Activity export"
* Select "Custom Date Range"
* Select your "From" and "To" Dates
* Under File Types for Download - Select "Comma Delimited - All Activity"
* Click "Download History"


What this process does is export your history to a CSV file, you can then use an app like Excel to sort, view, create and print your own reports.
