Cash-In from Paypal to Gcash

Good day to everyone,

I am having a problem with processing a cash-in from paypal to my Gcash account. It does say that my account is verified and ready to use but when I withdraw any amount of money it says I need to relink my account to my gcash wallet but I have been doing that for 2 days now but still won't work.

Upon checking on my paypal preapproved payments it says that "To protect your account, this preapproved payments has been deactivated. To reactivate it, reset your PIN.". What would be the best thing to do with this?

For myself, it's the initial linking of PayPal to GCash.

I emailed the GCash customer service and they told me they were having technical problems with PayPal to GCash transactions and are not sure how long they'll be having this problem. All users are affected apparently. Kinda sad because I was so excited about the whole withdrawing my PayPal money thing as I don't have a bank account.

Hopefully, they'll resolve this soon.

Same. How about paymaya? Have you ever thought of using it instead of gcash?

I opened an acct with gcash last march 10 and up to now I can't connect my gcash i have informed paypall about this and was informed that the problem is with gcash I told them to write gcash about this problem and was again informed that they do not transact business with 3rd parties. So I email cash and was informed that there was a problem with paypall who is giving me the right information.

Hi, I'll just repost my message here just in case it helps you too:

My 2 mistakes are:

 

1. I got different emails for GCash and Paypal - I fixed this by going to the Globe Store booth and update my information. This is my mistake, with yours, make sure you have the same personal information entered in both GCash & Paypal, e.g. name, address, etc. just to make sure.

2. I'm using Android Kitkat (4.4.x) - I used an Android Lollipop (5.x) instead

 

The prompt will still say "deactivated" in Paypal but I realized that it actually refers to items that have "flag" icon and G-XChange is actually not flagged. If you click the pre-approved payment item, the G-XChange status is actually "Active". The main problem probably lies in GCash when running Kitkat where when you authorized Paypal, it is stuck and cannot continue to link them. Try if it works for you as it worked for me.

i am also having the same problem. i have tried creating a new mobile after the linking process but did not do anything good. i ended up opening another account in a bank. please fix this because your offer is great but many people cant use it.

me too, now I'm stuck with a plastic card that is of no use since I mainly will use it for paypal only. I should have gotten the unionbank eon visa in the first place but they have 350 annual fee as compared to gcash one time fee of 250. It has been a month and gcash support is not good in resolving this issue. If nothing happens further have to go to eon card.
