Adding new email address for Notification of payment

My company uses the simplest business selling tool the PayPal offers.  (I can't remember the actual name)  We a very small number of items on the company website, and I manage the account.

I would like to change the notification email address to another person in the company for a certain group of items.  Tried adding their email, but got an error message.  (?? email address not valid ??)

So, I need 2 answers.

1) How to add an additional email address to the account?

and

2) How to insert the code into the item so the proper person gets the notification?

First you need to add a valid email address.

Then make that one primary to notifications go to that address.

Caution: you may be turning over a lot of security to another person.

I believe we use the Standard version.

Not worried about the security .. it's my boss LOL.  I want him to get notifications over the holidays for -ONLY- Gift certificates purchased since he has to handle them from his office.  That way there's no lag & I don't have to contact him separately with each purchase.

For everything else, I need the notifications to continue to come to me because I am at a different location where shipping of other items is handled.

Basically - I  need notifications on one account to be split to 2 people.  (Is that even possible?)

It -could- be that he has his primary email set up for another PayPal account.  I need to find out from him.  That could be the problem adding the address.

He would need a separate emal address not already connected to PayPal.

I believe he is the only one who would get notificaction.

I beleive their is a PayPal business setup which allows for sub or child accounts or something like that.  It's just what I read.  You could search the forum for child accounts, or better yet, phone PayPal customer service so you get it right.
