my paypal account was originally created in saudi arabia, but after traveling to iraq (im now a perment iraqi resident) my account was locked due to paypal not being supported in iraq. i have over 2000 us dollars in my account and i contanted the support team to solve this problem. they asked me to send an ID. a passport, a proof of residence. and documents of that matter in order to prove ownership. and i did that. but my account is still locked because again im in iraq. i've contancted the support team many times. they told me to withdraw the money via a US bank. i don't have a US bank. nor can i link one (because account is locked) then they told me that i can transfare the founds to another paypal account via a support message(and i have a proof of that message) yet when i contanted them about that denied they ever said that to me. and now my account is locked for ever and there is nothing i can do about it...

As this is a peer to peer communtiy, issues such as this cannot be resolved through this public forum. Note, the forum can provide advice and thoughts however, it's too late now - as you did not think about how your relocation has a trickle down affect - you should have closed your PayPal account and withdrawn your funds before moving. Probably not what you wanted to hear but, that's how the system works.
