It seems that Bank of America does not play nice with Paypal. I am inthe process of setting up a Etsy store and I need a Bank that will work with Paypal.
What error did you get when trying to link the Bank with your PayPal account?
As for new Etsy U. S. accounts you CANNOT add PayPal as a payment method; you must use Etsy's Direct Checkout for the payment processor. Buyers may pay with various credit cards and their own PayPal accounts.
