Unable to enter CSC# for new credit card

Ok, so I'm back on PayPal after being off a few years. I deleted the old expired credit card and entered a new one. Everything seemed fine until I entered the CSC#.

Apparently PayPal doesn't like the number I entered, even though it is definitely the correct number.

It tells me to check and try again. I've triple checked everything.

This is so frustrating...I need to make a payment for a purchase I made online from a merchant who only accepts PayPal.

Help, anyone? Cat Sad

Hey there. I just had this same problem. I was able to work around it by switching to the "Classic" interface. On the bottom of most pages, on the far left, is a link for Classic Site. So do the following:

  1. Go to the Wallet page.
  2. Click on the Classic Site link.
  3. In the Debit and credit cards section, click on the Update link on the right side.
  4. Click the Add a Card button.

You should now be on a screen that doesn't have that CSC# bug.

I hope that helps Cat Happy
