Sold an item on Ebay for 305 with shipping. It now says only 295.85 was received because of a 9+ dollar fee. Is this something the buyer should address and have to give me the 9 dollars or is this a fee against me for using paypal??

Hi aaronpbrown
That is the amount of fees paypal would have taken when you receive money into your account nothing to do with the buyer, if you go to the paypal page you can see what percentage they take.

Hi geno33
On Ebay you are charged listing fees unless the item 99p and under if that item sells you are then charged selling fees which Ebay takes a percentage depending on the price.
On Paypal when you receive payment Paypal take a percentage of the price also

Paypal and EBay are 2 separate businesses.
On Ebay you pay selling fees for the privilige if you like of selling on their site! Also like I said listing fees that's their policy and yes you are paying twice.
On EBay sometimes around once a month you get a free listing weekend I always take advantage of it you should too, although other charges still apply

Same reason as Ebay I suppose, They dont business with shipping costs just the whole amount of money you receive!
