Shipping Addresses

Whenever I make an online purchase using PayPal (regardless of merchant), I get a list of shipping addresses to choose from which I've used in the past but most of which are now obsolete.    The default address that appears at the top of the list is an address that I haven't used in years.  Is there a way to edit or clean up the default list of  shipping addresses?  I really only want my current address to appear and would like to delete all of the others.  I can't find any place to edit shipping addresses on the PayPal site.  Thanks.

Give customer support a ring as they can resolve your issue.  Seems this is something you can't do on your own.

Why would we have to call customer support? If we've deleted all but the current address, no other addresses should show up. This is an issue that needs to be fixed with the programming.

I would like to add my kids and grandkids addresses for shipping options. is there a way to do this.? To avoid reshipping the eBay item I just got for there birthday Thanks

same issue.  i now show 3 duplicate addresses and cannot delete them

Same issue here. I hate having to go though so many addresses to find the one I want. 😕

I am having the same problem, only I miss the problem sometimes paying from my phone and dont change it so my package goes to my Grandothers. Thank god its her house and not an old apartment we used to live at 6 years ago I guess. SOOO FRUSTERATING! It doesnt do it everytime either so I cant figure out when im "safe" or when its going to mess up my address. 

I have deleted ALL old addresses in both Paypal AND ebay. Sent in a CS ticket. This is insane. an OLd address shouldnt be set to default. It even says it is confirmed when clearly, My NEW address is the one that is confirmed now since I changed my bank info. Bizarre. I knew when ebay took over Paypal things would get irritating.....

I searched and searched to see how to do this and I found this thread.  It's crazy that we have to call Customer Service.  Come on Pay Pal - Let us control our own shipping addresses!!  We shouldn't have to call CS to delete old addresses if we don't have to call CS to ADD addresses.

same issue - except even worse - some of the old addresses go to my Former Neighbor, and the current neighbor at that address objects to my shipping anything there -- I've logged in to PayPal directly and gone to my profile and edited my list of addresses and it looks correct. BUT when I buy something from a merchant and need to select "Change Address",,a menu list of possible addresses come _that_includes_the_old_addresses_ even though they're not visible anywhere in my profile. How do I clean up this #$%^& mess?
