Primary email

How do I change my primary email? I need to create a separate account with the primary email I'm using now, I followed the steps, but it says I can't change my primary email!

I have this problem too! I cannot cgange my primary, and even though there is a checkbox on alternates to make them the primary it always comes back with "This email already exists on your account."

If I edit and check the box it doesn't error but it only changes the address not the primary. I'm really trying to stop using the primary address and need some help!
