No way to add email address to Profile.

Okay, this doesn't work, and no other version works

 

Here's how to add an email address to your PayPal account:
  1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account.
  2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
  3. Click 'Update' beside 'Email'.
  4. Click 'Add'.
  5. Enter your new email address and click 'Save'.

because there is no ADD button, or Save button, or any other button on my Profile page that allows me to add an email address.

It's simply not there. Every time I try to "Update" the primary address I get this error message that I can't do it. There is nothing else on the screen that allows me to add an address.

 

Can someone please tell me what's goin on?

 

Also, I just tested paypal from a buyer perspective, and the reciept I got for the product shows it from a long-forgotten and used email address at the then copper.net provider. I cannot find where to get rid of that address, and I don't understand why paypal would use it for a reciept unless it's buried in the muck somewhere unknown to me.

 

Any help here is greatly appreciated, as I'm trying to get Easy Digal Downloads to work with Paypal.

Just checked on my paypal account and it was easy enough.

 

I just clicked on profile (spanner thing next to log out) >> then where it says email addresses (2 down) click on the + icon and a box comes up for you to enter a new one.


Advice is voluntary.

I don't get it.

I get NOTHING of what you describe in your post.

When I click on Profile, there is no page with "email addresses" on it.

It automatically opens the "Business Profile" window, as seen below.

There is no "+ icon" anywhere.

There is no "box" for me to enter a new address.

And per other instructions that don't work, there is no "save" button.

 

I see none of this on my screen, and this is what I get when I click on "Profile," and it all goes to h from there.

And no, I'm not missing the "Profile" link and hitting the "Business Profile" icon by mistake. I've tried this "Profile" button at least twenty times or so tryin' to find the illusive "add" buttons and others suggested that simply do not exist when I'm in paypal.

 

I just don't get it.

Can someone tell me what's wrong?

go to profile and settings > under my business details there's update beside email address > click update there's a '+' icon on the upper right part of the new page
