I can't link my Romanian VISA USD card to Pay Pal

Hello,

My Romanian bank has issued a VISA debit card for my USD bank account, but I can't link it to my Pay Pal account. The card has been activated for online activity, as per bank agreement.

The message shown in an error box every time I try to link it is: "This card is not accepted. Please use a different card."

I understand that I will be charged and returned a small verification fee of 1-2$. My current account ballance is 3.94$. Will that be enough, considering any additional transfer fees?

Please advise, as I need to start using my account ASAP.

What countries paypal account do you have?

What countries card are you trying to link?

I'm from Romania.

Not sure what country's PayPal account I have. I'm accessing PayPal from a Romanian IP.

I am trying to link a debit card issued by a Romanian bank.

@PetruFistoc: I've got the sme problem and i'm also from Romania..... Everytime i fill in the card data, i recive this message " This card is not accepted. Please use a different card".

@LigiaB I'm currently exchanging emails with PP to solve the problem. If I find a solution, I'll let you know, so you don't have to go through all the trouble yourself. Pleas post another comment to this thread in a week or so, just in case I forget 🙂 Bafta! 😉
