Currency Stuck in USD (US Dollars)

Hi, Ive just spoken to someone in the UK helpesk about this, apprently becuase my account is so old (one of the original Paypal accounts) its showing some of the site in the new design and some in the old.

My main issue is that both on the Desktop and iOS versions of the paypal interface, the display currency is always showing in US Dollars, even though if I go into my profile, the Dollars is not even set up as a Currency and the default is set to GBP (UK Pounds).

I've tried alsorts to try and force it to reset itself.  if I try and add a new currency say Euro's, set this as primary and then go back and make UK pounds Primary, it just goes to an error page.

Can someone from Paypal please contact me regarding this, as the chap on the phone said he was going to send me a link to upload some screen grabs to show the issue, but Im not convinced I will hear from him, and there is absolutely nowhere on the paypal site to upload screen grabs or any file types.

Thanks

Dan

The same problem here.

My ONLY currency is PLN, but PP show USD instead.

It's not a big problem on my desktop, but on iOS there's no way to change it back to PLN to transfer the money.

I can see the amount in PLN and a window below to enter the amount I want to transfer.... in USD!

PP please fix it!

ps. a temporary workaround is to set both PLN and USD currency, just to have a popup to change it before entering the amount.

Looks like PayPal doesn't care much about it...

Same problems,

I have a very old PP account and it shows in places as USD

The biggest problem for me is that paypal.me is now unusable because I can't send anyone a link and expect to get the correct amount, you are supposed to be able to send a link with the ammount you want on the end, but if I ask for £25 when they click the link it asks for $25 which is a massive difference.

Paypal support didn't understand what I was getting at and kept telling me there is a button to change the currency, I kept telling them however I can't rely on the person recieving the link to change the currency and it should work as advertised. If they send me $25 they will get annoyed when I tell them they haven't sent me enough money.

My support ticket seems to have now gone dormant as they can't be bothered to look at it any more.

You wouldn't get this kind of shoddy support from a Bank, I wonder if the financial ombudsman can step in?
