Changing Primary Street Address - Won't Work

The street address on my paypal account is outdated. However, when I try to change it, I'm getting an error. The new address is successfully linked to one of my cards, and is showing on my profile along with the old address. When I go to change it to my primary addressm, it won't change. I also cannot delete my existing primary address... there is no delete button, only an edit button. I just want to old address to go away, so that I only have one mailing address showing on the profile.

When you run into account profile change issues, it's best to contact customer support for assistance.  As this is a member to member help group, no one here can access or view user account information, only customer support can.  You can contact them via email, phone or through Twitter @AskPayPal or via Private Message on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PayPal

I have similar problems to Kathrynd. Can't change my old address, says change it in wallet first, but no addresses show there. Your solution is missing important data... The phone or email for PayPal customer support! I can't find it at all, just constant links back to FAQs. I have no twitter or facebook account. And only Smartphone internet access. So tell me where to get help! Thanks.

I live in Jamaica. In the Caribbean Paypal Jamaica is here yet you still require me to put state and country as US. What do i do?

There is no way of changing address with paypal.  What I have hmailing changead to do is write to the seller and give hm the address you want him to send the item ect.

Good day I live in Jamaica and Paypal is in Jamaica yet I am required to give a state and say i live in the US which I don't. What am I to do to rectify this major problem?  I have a personal account and it is accepted why is the business account any different?

I just experienced the same problem. I finally realized my screen was zoomed in and I could not see the "set as primary" option at the bottom of the screen. Try to zoom out a bit and you'll see it.

Thanks, but I did hit that "make primary" button, I had full view on my PC. The problem was ultimately solved by a call to PayPal.

Ok, here is the real help everyone is looking for. Call Go to https://www.paypal.com/help and click "Call Us". Answer the account questions and then when prompted to explain why you're calling, just say "Technical Support". If you say anything else it will just give you an automated answer that doesn't solve the problem.
