Can't remove credit card while authorization is still pending

Hello,

This same issue seems to happen to other user's of paypal, that is the bank that is the funding source of a credit card decides to change the credit card to a different company. In my case it was changed from master card to visa, I was able to add my new card without any problem. I've already made several purchase's with it, I've been trying to remove / delete my old card from my account..so far without any success. When I try to remove the desired card, I get the notice " You may not remove your funding source while an authorization is still pending. ". I'm sure that other users of pay pal have had the same issue, how were you able to get it corrected ?

Thanks for replying to my question, I've tried the e-mail route..all I received that way was an automated reply, suggesting different things to try. I've tried calling them..but was on hold for so long I got tired of waiting and hung up. I guess I can try the phone route again, I do have a twitter account..but don't know how safe that method would be. I don't know why they make things so hard.

Me either... I can't change the billing address either for a credit card THAT WASN'T used for the pending transaction and the transaction is being charged to the credit card that USE to have the correct billing addy but defaulted to an old address.  And now with this new system I was not given the opportunity to change SHIP TO address from an ebay order.  And on line at the wee hours as we humans are... paypal closes their customer support.  I am done using PayPal and I hope the seller will honor my email and send my purchase to California instead of Oregon... it's not like it's next door.  Just feeling jacked around by yet another monster or evil like Comcast.  And to think I use to like PayPal and use it.. not going to happen now.  Like Yahoo defaulting into a system that Google uses.. Corporate is run by computers and we are all collateral damage...now I am just ranting. so good bye
